Recommendation Technology Rules

Version 2.0 — Effective date: 23 July 2026 · https://aiacts.ai/recommendation-rules.html

This page explains how AiActs decides which provisions of the EU AI Act to show you and how the report is put together.

What the system uses

The system does not use your identity, your location or your behaviour on other websites to decide what to show you.

How the result is produced

Classification and the list of applicable obligations are produced by a deterministic rule engine. Your answers are matched against explicit conditions, matching rules are applied, and the result is derived from those rules. The same input produces the same output, and every conclusion traces back to the provision that produced it.

A language model is used only to write the explanatory text around that result. It does not decide which provisions apply. The cited sources stay visible in the report so that you can check each one against the original.

The language model is provided by the third-country processor listed in the External Processors register.

Currency of the knowledge base

The legal corpus is versioned. Each report shows the version and date of the corpus it was produced from.

When the underlying sources change, the system identifies assessments affected by the change and can recalculate them, showing you what has changed since your report was generated. A report is accurate as of its stated date and not afterwards.

What you can do

Review the report, check every cited provision against its source, download the formats included in your plan, and run the assessment again with corrected or fuller input. If the input was incomplete, the result will be too.

Limits

AiActs is a software service, not a legal service. Results are produced by automated analysis and are informational only. They are not legal advice and do not replace a qualified lawyer. You remain responsible for decisions you make.

Coverage depends on the plan selected and on the completeness and accuracy of the information you enter. AiActs makes no binding decision about you and does not restrict your rights on the basis of a result.
