Consent Document
This document sets out what you consent to and what is optional. It is separate from the Terms of Service.
Processing that does not rely on consent
To operate your account and produce reports we process account, authentication, profile, assessment, report, security and audit data. This is necessary to perform our contract with you and is not optional while your account exists. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Producing a report involves sending the facts required for it to the language model provider listed in the External Processors register. This is part of delivering the service you asked for, so it is not a separate consent. If you prefer not to send information about identifiable people, enter descriptions that identify no individual; the assessment works without them.
Age verification, and parental consent where the user is below the minimum age, are carried out to comply with the law and are likewise not optional.
Payment data is processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record when you subscribe.
Optional consents
You give or refuse each of these separately. None is pre-ticked, and refusing any of them does not restrict your access to the service.
Analytics. Analytics and product-usage measurement. Analytics scripts are not loaded until you accept them in the cookie banner.
Marketing. Product updates and marketing emails.
Transfer to processors for non-essential functions. Transfer of data to providers listed in the External Processors register where the transfer is not required to deliver the service itself.
Withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw any optional consent at any time in Account → Privacy & Data, or by writing to hello@aiacts.ai. Withdrawal applies going forward and does not affect processing already carried out.
Withdrawing consent does not close your account. To close it, use Account → Privacy & Data; deletion then follows the Retention Policy.
Records
Each consent and withdrawal is recorded with the date and time, the document version, the method used, the IP address, and a snapshot of the text shown to you at the time. You can view your consent history in Account → Privacy & Data.
